QMetry^TM chosen as "The Plug-in of the Month" by JIRA(Atlassian)

Sandip Patel, the Business Development Manager at QMetry, presented the webinar describing the QMetry Plug-in for JIRA and the use cases. Sandip highlighted, “If you are using JIRA to manage your requirements, issues, or task management, then QMetry can significantly enhance your productivity by complementing JIRA by adding the missing piece of test management.” On being questioned on the need of a test management tool like QMetry’s to integrate with a defect/requirement tool like JIRA, Patel added, “Well to start off both are leading tools in their segments.  However as we defined in the early process we need a complete look into the SDLC which by combining the strengths of both tools is delivered.  The unique Bi-Directional integration allows the end users to work form either tool, while it communicates and relays the information back and forth behind the scenes.  As you can see in the architecture in this slide, QMetry invokes JIRA web service API’s and additionally QMetry has plug-ins that allow certain tasks for QMetry to be completed in JIRA.  Basically allowing JIRA & QMetry Users to work within each tool to complete common tasks without having to leave the user interface”.
