Overview

QMetry BOT Tester automates the bot testing of other Facebook Messenger Chatbots. It significantly accelerates the testing of complex chatbot interaction flows and prevents manual testing errors. It features codeless automation, support of complex response types and a wizard based flow for automation.  
QMetry BOT Tester will also be available for other chat bots like Skype and WhatsApp soon.

What can you test with QMetry Bot Tester?

Intent Validation

QMetry Bot Tester can validate the intent derived by your chatbot for various text typed by the users. For ex: “Growth of my portfolio” and “percentage change in my portfolio” needs to map to the same intent.

Multiple response validation

Smart BOTs could react differently to the same query. QMetry Bot Tester can validate multiple response scenarios with ease.

All Facebook content types

Using QMetry Bot Tester, you can Test for all simple and complex Facebook Messenger content types. Ex: Buttons, Quick Replies, Generic, List, error codes etc.

QMetry Bot Tester Features

Easy definition of your test cases in a simple spreadsheet template or export from QMetry Test Management tool.

Interactive Bot interface for test configuration.

Integrated with the host Bot platform.

Dual mode of automation testing – headless and GUI based.

Export results into a csv file or to QMetry Test Management or QMetry Wisdom.

Imitating the User’s action

QMetry BOT Tester follows the actions taken by user to test the end – to end test scenario. It imitates user and interacts with the BOT and captures the responses. These responses are then compared to the expected response data (test data) given in the excel/csv and provides test run outcomes.

Headless testing

QMetry BOT Tester connects directly to BOT server of “BOT under Test”. User’s actions are sent directly using excel sheet or CSV. The BOT responses are captured and are compared with the response data mentioned in Test Data in excel/csv.
